On the Day of your rental we will automatically place a $200 (per ski) hold on your card you used when you booked.
If that declines we will contact you via Phone, Text Message or Email and instruct you to either make funds available on your card, pay using a different card or Venmo. Cash is NOT accepted.
DEPOSIT IS DUE 2 HOURS BEFORE YOUR RENTAL START TIME.
Failure to provide the deposit will result in your rental being cancelled and refunded with a 30% Cancellation Fee.
Holds and Deposits are usually sent back at the end of the day. Depending on your bank it may take 1-3 business days for the hold or deposit to be removed on your end.
We’ve only ever had to keep someone’s damage deposit twice. Don’t be the third.
I agree to leave a security deposit as a guarantee that the equipment will be returned in the same condition as it was rented. The security deposit will be refunded at the end of the rental period, provided that the jet ski is returned undamaged and without any missing parts. However, please note that the security deposit does not limit your liability for any damages to the jet ski or any third-party property or persons caused by your use of the equipment. Iowa Jet Ski reserves the right to retain the security deposit or charge additional fees to cover any damages or losses incurred as a result of your rental. By paying the deposit you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.
